Ludhiana, November 17, 2014: The 546th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev was celebrated at the premises of Guru Nanak International Senior Secondary Public School.
The celebrations started with Japuji Sahib’s Path. The whole atmosphere became very pious. Students recited Poems, Sakhis and Sabads; and they also delivered lectures highlighting the life and activities of Guru Nanak Dev with great zeal & enthusiasm.
Director Kuldeep Kaur; Principal B.Bedi and General Secretary Gurvinder Singh Sarna congratulated the students and staff on this religious occasion.
Bedi also paid tribute to Great Educationist and General Secretary of Guru Nanak Education Trust Gurbir Singh Sarna; and fondly remembered his mission and vision with wet eyes.
Gurvinder Singh Sarna gave vote of thanks to the guests and also encouraged the students to follow the path shown to us by Baba Nanak. The day concluded with distribution of langar.
