56 Farm women and parents of 42 wards attend PAU Kisan Club Camp
A total of 56 farm women and parents of 42 school children were apprised of various agriculture and household management practices as well as agriculture related academic programmes during the monthly training camp of women’s wing of PAU Kisan Club, today. The camp was held the able guidance of Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU).
Ludhiana, April 4, 2024: A total of 56 farm women and parents of 42 school children were apprised of various agriculture and household management practices as well as agriculture related academic programmes during the monthly training camp of women’s wing of PAU Kisan Club, today. The camp was held the able guidance of Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU).
Dr Rupinder Kaur, Associate Director (Skill Development), informed the participants about the academic and skill oriented training programmes, which when clubbed could lead to positivity and prosperity in terms of career and monetary growth.
Resource persons Dr Manpreet Saini, Dr Manisha Thakur, Dr Preeti Sharma, and Dr Prerna Kapila explained the safe storage of food grains at home; vocational and career advancement programmes in community science, agriculture and other streams; and organic cultivation of vegetables for nutritional garden.
Kanwaljit Kaur proposed a vote of thanks.
