5TH WORLD KABADDI CUP-2014: First list of Dope test results out-All 14 players clear
Chandigarh, December 12, 2014: The National Anti Doping Agency today released the first list of dope tests of players participating in 5th World Cup Kabaddi, in which all 14 players have respectively cleared their tests.
According to an official spokesman the NADA was being carried out the dope tests as part of anti-doping policy envisioned by Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, who is also sports minister of Punjab. He said in first phase the test reports of 14 players have released by the agency in which they all respectively cleared with negative reports.
The spokesman also said that NADA was being carried out the tests by taking samples of Kabaddi players and the tests were being examined in laboratories authorised by World Anti Doping Agency (WADA). He said dope test would be carried out in each match and it would again conducted on players, whose sample had been taken earlier. He said the anti-dope norms were being strictly executed in the ongoing 5thedition of World Cup Kabaddi.
