68th Republic Day was celebrated at Christian Medical College & Hospital

Ludhiana, January 26, 2017: The 68th Republic Day was celebrated at Christian Medical College & Hospital (CMC), Ludhiana with Patriotic spirit. The Program started with thanks giving service for the country at college chapel, followed by Flag hoisting, March past and cultural events. The Chief Guest, Indian industrialist and the Chairman of the Vardhman Group of Companies, Shri S.P Oswal was welcomed & introduced by Dr.Abraham G. Thomas, Director, CMC Ludhiana.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Shiri S.P Oswal shared the importance of Republic Day and said that everyone citizen of India should play their role responsibly so that together we can be a part of developing our country.

The presence of the Administrative team, staff and students marked the occasion. At this occasion CMC staff members who had completed 35 years of dedicated service were honored. The Program was organized by College of Physiotherapy. Patriotic songs and dances were presented by the students of five colleges of CMC i.e. Medical, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy & Institute of Allied Health Sciences (IAHS). The Acting Principal of College of Physiotherapy Dr.Sandeep Saini thanked everyone for the help extended.
