69th Inter Services Hockey Championship started today with an inauguration ceremony held at Katoch Stadium, Jalandhar Cantt.

Jalandhar, February 7, 2023: 69th Inter Services Hockey Championship started today with an inauguration ceremony held at Katoch Stadium, Jalandhar Cantt.
During the inauguration ceremony, impressive March Past by the teams was followed by the Oath Taking Ceremony.
The Oath was administered by Petty Officer Jugraj of Indian Navy Team who has represented India in 2022.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General Vikas Saini, Chief of Staff, Headquarters Vajra Corps, motivated the players to showcase their exemplary hockey skills and display the highest traditions of sportsmanship.
The inaugural match of the championship was played between Indian Army Red and Indian Army Green. Army Red won the match by score of 4 - 1.
Jagjot Singh from Army Red scored a hatrick.
The final match of the championship will be played on 10 February 2023.
