7-day workshop on Audio and Sound Production held in Doaba College
PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Doaba College Jalandhar, organized a 7-day workshop on Audio and Sound Production. Renowned Sound recordists and producers Sukheep Singh and Kunal Aggarwal from Anhad Studio and Sonik culture respectively were invited as resource persons. Students were introduced theoretically and practically on recording, dubbing, voice modulation, storytelling techniques, sound editing and sound effects in various formats.

Jalandhar, March 15, 2024: PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Doaba College Jalandhar, organized a 7-day workshop on Audio and Sound Production. Renowned Sound recordists and producers Sukheep Singh and Kunal Aggarwal from Anhad Studio and Sonik culture respectively were invited as resource persons. Students were introduced theoretically and practically on recording, dubbing, voice modulation, storytelling techniques, sound editing and sound effects in various formats.
Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, welcomed the resource persons and urged students to make best use of the resources as audio and sound production industry is booming.
Dr. Simran Sidhu, Co-ordinator of the workshop highlighted the value of time in radio production she stressed upon the impact that is supposed to be made within span of few seconds.
Around 35 students attended the workshop.
