75 Scooties burnt in Kangra on Diwali, 25 Damaged

Dharamshala, November 8, 2018: 100 newly arrived Scooties charred in a fire incident in Honda scooty Showroom in Kangra near here last night. Fire Officer Maniram told that on Diwali Night Fire brigade was informed that there is fire at Honda Scooties Kangraa, so they rushed to the spot , but fire was so intense that 100 scooties were charred.
Sandeep Bassi, owner of Bageshwari Honda Birata, told that last night a truck with 120 skooties reached at the showroom, out of which 100 were down loaded before the labour went for dinner. Bassi said that about 10 PM he received a phone call of the neighbourer that fire has broke out at the showroom. He said, “We reached the spot and fire brigade to arrived from Dharamshala. Beside all efforts fire brigade newly arrived scooties could not be saved from the devastating fire.” Meher Singh, in-charge of the police station Kangra told that the police have registered the statements of the owners of the scooter showroom. According to the show room owner, 75 sooties have completely been burnt while 25 have also been badly damaged. A total of 100 skooties burnt in fire, resulting in a total loss of 55-60 lakhs. According to the Fire Brigade, the property of one crore has been rescued. There is a news of fire on 4 different places last night in Kangra .
