75th Independence Day celebrated at DCM Presidency School

Independence Day was celebrated with full patriotic fervour on 15th August, 2022 in the school campus with the staff, students and parents to mark the 75th year of independence.

Ludhiana, August 15, 2022 Independence Day was celebrated with full patriotic fervour on 15th August, 2022 in the school campus with the staff, students and parents to mark the 75th year of independence. 

On this special occasion, the programme started with flag hoisting by the Principal Rajni Kalra, the admin staff, teacher, the school’s NCC team, parents and the students were present on this occasion .The Security Guard, Khushbeer Singh was conferred with a star on his uniform for his long ,honest service to the institution.  The Principal addressed the gathering appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urging them to take pride in being an Indian and fulfilling one’s duty with responsibility. She also emphasized the role of youth today as the true wealth of a country. This was followed by a special assembly where the school choir sang patriotic songs that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the motherland. The students also presented a dance performance to commemorate the occasion. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, amity, and unity in diversity.
