78 screened in ortho camp at Radaur

Radaur (Yamunanagar), July 24, 2019: As many as 78 people were screened in a free knee & joint replacement camp by Alchemist Hospital Panchkula at Rama Nursing Home, Radaur on Wednesday. The camp was organized in association of Rotary Club, Radaur.

Among others, Rtn.Suresh Banchal President, Rtn.Dr.S.C.Saini , Rtn.G.P.Sharma charter president , Rtn.Ashok Chauhan and Rtn.Balwant Singh were also presented during camp.

In camp, Dr Sandeep Kumar Jindal, consultant- orthopedics from Alchemist provided free consultation to the patients with knee and hips related problems.

Physiotherapy consultations also given in camp where patients were advised about exercises for relieving pain related to knee and hip problems.

During occasion, Dr. Sandeep also made aware people about the knee replacement surgery benefits.

He said that the surgery aims to relieve pain, restore patient independence and make one to do daily activities. The patients are able to walk the first day after surgery as they recover quickly. Generally, patients are able to return to driving in four to six weeks and other routine activities.
