78th Independence Day celebrated with proud and enthusiasm in the Area Accounts Office (Pay) in Jalandhar

Jalandhar, August 16, 2024: 78th Independence day celebration has been celebrated with Pround and enthusiasm in the Area Accounts Office (Pay) in Jalandhar. On this occasion, Manjeet Kaur, Additional CDA hoisted the flag. In her inspiring address to the offices, staff and pensioners, she highlighted country's achievements in past years, including progress in the areas of economy, technology, healthcare, and the journey towards a self-reliant nation. on this occasion, Special tributes were paid to the freedom fighters whose resilience and determination laid the foundation for our country's independence.
 
The program also included lecture on Independence Day by Kumar Abhishek, AAO and cultural performance by Gurpreet Singh, AAO and Princess Janvi. After the program, tree plantation drive was conducted, in which Manjeet Kaur, AddI.CDA, Santokh Raj, Dy. CDA, Lachhman Singh, ACDA, Kashmiri Lal, Sr. AO, Mohan Lal, Jt. CDA (retired) and other DAD pensioners also participated.
 
As part of special campaign for redressal of Grievances from 5th August 2024 to  15 September 2024, initiated by CGDA, Headquarter Office, New Delhi, DAD pensioners' conclave was also organized. The benefits of use of Jeevan Pramaan APP and detail of procedure to access SPARSH website and work being done through SPARSH Service Centres (Pension) were also discussed.
