9-year-old Oakridge selected for Pre Nationals in 10 meter Air Rifle Shooting Competition

Mohali: Oakridge International School, student Samiraaj of grade 4 qualifies for Pre-Nationals north zone in sub-youth and youth category in the 10-meter Air Rifle Shooting competition, after competing in a state-level competition that was held in February 2021 in Mohali. He bagged a Gold Medal in the same competition at the district level, held in January 2021 at Shooting range Mohali.
This 9-year-old Samiraaj was always inclined towards the art of shooting as he grew up seeing his father practicing and admiring the sport of shooting. Samiraaj has received multiple awards and accolades in 10-meterAir Rifle Open competitions held in 2019 and 2020 and was awarded by Shooter Dadi Smt. Chandro Tomar in Jan 2020.
Ramanjit Ghuman, Principal, Oakridge International School congratulated him for hia achievement at such an early stage of life . His hard work, dedication, and intelligence brought pride to our school. According to her he will seize more such opportunities coming on his way and make us proud in the Pre-Nationals (north zone) in sub-youth and youth category in the 10-meter Air Rifle Shooting competition to be held in Jaipur in March 2021.
