A girl I know: First novel of city lad Shovan Gaur

Ludhiana: COVID lockdown has proved a boon for those who otherwise could not find adequate time to bring shape to their talent and hidden competence.
 
City lad Shovan Gaur has recently come up with a new novel ‘A girl I know’ during such period.  Twenty years oldyears old Shovan Gaur is an engineering student, who is pursuing B. Tech in Information Technology from Chandigarh Engineering College.
 
A book ‘A girl I know’ is very close to author’s heart and reflects the vintage values and execution, which are missing in today’s modern relationship with our near and dear ones. It took Shovan one month to complete his novel and he did most of his writing during night hours, when he would find ample serene time to express his observations about difference among older and young generation regarding their approach towards love and their life partner.         
 
His father Harish Gaur, working in Biochemistry Department of DMCH, who himself is a great lover of classical and old Hindi music says that besides undertaking academic pursuits, children should always be encouraged to polish their hidden talents and skills.
 
Shovan further says, ‘The pandemic lockdown helped many people to polish their skills and I thought it would be the best time to follow your passion while having plenty of time to shape your art.  
 
The author expresses that as he has been residing far away from his home, so he took lockdown period as the best opportunity to be with his family and also getting ample time to put down his inner emotions and observing in releasing a book which reflects the value of human relationships
