A grand felicitation ceremony was organized by 2 Punjab NCC Battalion, Jalandhar, under the leadership of Commanding Officer Col Vinod Joshi, to honour outstanding NCC personnel who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields. The event celebrated the remarkable achievements of distinguished cadets and officers, recognizing their dedication and hard work.

Jalandhar, March 27, 2025: A grand felicitation ceremony was organized by 2 Punjab NCC Battalion, Jalandhar, under the leadership of Commanding Officer Col Vinod Joshi, to honour outstanding NCC personnel who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields. The event celebrated the remarkable achievements of distinguished cadets and officers, recognizing their dedication and hard work.
Lt. (Dr.) Karanbir Singh from Lyallpur Khalsa College awarded the prestigious Director General NCC Commendation Card with Badge for his exemplary service and leadership. Subedar Rajender Singh, Training JCO, honoured with the South Western Army Commander Commendation Card with Badge for his outstanding contribution to training and mentorship. Cadet Ayush Kumar from Army Public School, successfully cleared the SSB Board recommendation for NDA-154. Cadet Dipanshu Sharma also from Army Public School, achieved a rare feat by securing SSB recommendations for both NDA-154 and 10+2 Technical Entry-53. Notably, Cadet Ayush Kumar and Cadet Dipanshu Sharma were trained for the rigorous SSB interview process under the expert guidance of Col Vinod Joshi, whose mentorship played a pivotal role in their success.
In his interaction during the quarterly ANO Conference with the Associate NCC officers and army personnel, Col Joshi explained about the future camps, online enrolment and training programmes of the Battalion. The ceremony concluded on a high note with high tea, where attendees, including NCC officers from different institutions, cadets, and proud parents, shared their appreciation for the honourees' achievements. The event underscored the 2 Punjab NCC Battalion’s commitment to nurturing talent and inspiring the next generation of leaders in the armed forces.
