A Resplendent Diwali Celebration at Sanskriti KMV School
Sanskriti KMV School recently orchestrated a magnificent Diwali celebration, showcasing an array of talents and creativity across grades from nursery to 12th. The festivities commenced with our Tiny Tots eloquently reciting poignant dohas from the Ramayana, encapsulating the profound essence of this revered occasion. This was followed by a mesmerizing dance performance, vividly illustrating the triumphant arrival of Lord Rama in Ayodhya, which captivated the audience with its artistic fervour.
Jalandhar, November 2, 2024: Sanskriti KMV School recently orchestrated a magnificent Diwali celebration, showcasing an array of talents and creativity across grades from nursery to 12th. The festivities commenced with our Tiny Tots eloquently reciting poignant dohas from the Ramayana, encapsulating the profound essence of this revered occasion. This was followed by a mesmerizing dance performance, vividly illustrating the triumphant arrival of Lord Rama in Ayodhya, which captivated the audience with its artistic fervour.
Students in grades 1st through 8th immersed themselves in an extensive range of Diwali-themed craft activities, including the meticulous creation of diya cut-outs, vibrant kandils, ornate torans, gift boxes, and elegant candle holders. In a commendable initiative promoting sustainability, students generously donated reusable or recyclable items, thereby contributing to environmental stewardship.
The senior students took the lead in imparting essential safety measures, ensuring a secure and enjoyable celebration for all. Each class participated in the intricate artistry of rangoli, transforming the school into a vivid tapestry of colors and designs. Furthermore, workshops on Mouldit Clay, conducted by esteemed resource persons Navdeep Kaur and Ritu Lal, both certified professionals from Pidilite.
Rachna Monga (Principal) offered her warm wishes to both staff and students and reiterated that students should celebrate Diwali in its purest form by lighting earthen lamps and sharing with the less fortunate. She apprised the students to act responsibly and be sensitive towards the essence of their environment and conveyed the message of a pollution-free, clean and safe Diwali.
