A Sacred Offering for Success: Havan Ceremony at DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur

Jalandhar, February 11, 2025: "Oh Lord, in the rising smoke of this sacred fire, consume all negativity within us, and grant us the strength to emerge as virtuous individuals."

These heartfelt words echoed through the air as DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, held a significant Havan Yajna on February 10, 2025, to invoke divine blessings upon students of the 8th, 10th, and 12th grades as they embark on their board examinations.

The school grounds were imbued with a sense of reverence as students, faculty, and staff gathered to participate in the auspicious ceremony.  With sincere devotion, the students offered their prayers, seeking the Almighty's grace and guidance in the upcoming crucial tests.  The air resonated with the chanting of sacred mantras, and the entire staff showered the students with fragrant flower petals, bestowing their blessings for success and a bright future.  This act symbolized their collective hope that the students would not only excel academically but also become exemplary individuals, bringing honour to their families and their alma mater.

The Principal, Dr. Yogesh Gambhir, along with student representatives, ceremoniously kindled the Havan Kund, igniting the sacred fire.  He emphasized the profound significance of the Havan, not just as a ritual, but as a reminder to respect and cherish parents and teachers, who are the true guiding forces in their lives.  He then addressed the students, offering his heartfelt encouragement and urging them to approach their examinations with unwavering dedication and resolve.  He shared insights into the path to success, stressing the importance of thorough revision and a deep understanding of the concepts.

The spiritual ambiance inspired a renewed sense of purpose among the students, who pledged to give their very best.  In a touching gesture, the  12th-grade students left a lasting imprint on their school by creating handprints, symbolizing their enduring connection and future support for their alma mater.
