A Tribute To National Icon Ratan Tata

Ludhiana, October 18, 2024: P. G. Dept of Commerce & Mgmt of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women Kidwai Nagar organized under the guidance of Seema Soni (HOD) a “Declamation Contest” to give a heartfelt tribute to the Legend Ratan Naval Tata.

Ratan – Kohinoor as a man of the greatest time who has not only changed the face of the Indian Industry but also touched the heart of every Indian with his unconditional spirit of working towards the national building. His legacy will forever inspire us. Total 25 students participated in which Sukhman Preet Kaur  bagged 1st position, Hitakshi  bagged 2nd Position, Sania Gattani  bagged 3rd position in this contest.

Nand Kumar Jain (President), Rajkumar Gupta (Manager), Banka Bihari Lal (Member), Dr. Sarita Bahl (Principal) motivated winners by giving them prizes and certificates. 

Sukhdev Raj Jain, (Chairman of the College Managing Committee), Vipan Kumar Jain (Sr. Vice President), Shanti Saroop Jain (Vice President), Rajeev Jain (General Secretary), Rakesh Kumar Jain (Secretary)) and Ashok Kumar Jain (Cashier) of the college express their feelings regarding the loss of one of the most India’s beloved leader and businessman and lauded the Commerce and Management Department for its efforts to inculcate value among students through such activities.
