The Run which is in 3rd year attracted 600 runners from all over India to test their endurance this weekend

A unique ‘24-hour Stadium Run’ held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, November 27, 2023: A Unique Run, called Gaudium Stadium Run 2023 was held.  It was organised by the Hyderabad Runners Society. It was a 24 hour run.  It was held from 25th November at 6 pm to 26th November at 26 pm.  Stadium Runs are specially curated runs, especially for seasoned runners and fitness enthusiasts. It's a track provided for professionals who aim to improve their mileage and timing.

 
Stadium Runs have another interesting dimension, Team Relays for Corporates and Running Groups who make this a part of their training and fitness plans, in a way to encourage and motivate their runners.
 

It was the 3rd edition of the run.  It was a 24 Hours of running challenge...starting at 6 pm and finishing at 6 pm.
 

The objective of this run was to promote team spirit and gender inclusivity in running as a preferred form of fitness activity.
 

There were 9 race categories in the event.  Team Relay Categories include 12Hour Team Relay- Night Run, 12 Hour Team Relay - Day Run and Solo Run Categories. It was conducted for 24 hours, 12 Hours, and 6 Hours durations.  24 Hours Solo Ultra, 12 Hours Solo Ultra, 6 Hours Ultra and 12 Hours Team Relay were the run   categories of the event
 

Over 600 runners from all across the twin cities and outstation locations have taken part in the race.  About 85 teams consisting of 6 runners/team ran in relay sequence for 2 Hours each. The teams had a mandatory male, female mix to participate as a team
 

It was a race to become a Champion Ultra Runner.  Runners with abundant endurance participated. 

 
The total prize money for the 3rd edition is Rs.3,00,400.
 

The runs were flagged off on 25th Nov, Saturday at 6 pm K. Kirthi Reddy- Founder Director of Gaudium and CEO of Gaudium Ramakrishna Reddy and Hyderabad Runners President Abhijeet Madnurkar. Arun Kumar K Secretary and Raghu Peetambaran Treasurer Hyderabad Runners Society were also present to flag off the races and encouraged the runners to excel as a team.
