A visit to Ekjot Viklang Bachon ka Kendra
The Social Sciences Department of Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana organised an outreach activity in which around 50 students were taken to visit and interact with the students and residents of Ekjot Viklang Bacchon ka Kendra, Ludhiana on Monday.
Ludhiana, April 1, 2024: The Social Sciences Department of Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana organised an outreach activity in which around 50 students were taken to visit and interact with the students and residents of Ekjot Viklang Bacchon ka Kendra, Ludhiana on Monday.
This visit left a lasting impact on both the visiting students and the children at the NGO. The students brought with them packets of eatables, clothes, stationery items and dry ration all intended to bring joy and support to the needy. The students tried to form connections and understanding through conversations, laughter and shared experiences. This activity was supervised by Prof. Gursharan Kaur Head, Dept. of Sociology and Prof. Dimple Madan, Dept. of Economics.
Appreciating the efforts of the Social Sciences Department, Officiating Principal Prof. Jaspaul Kaur said that this visit would indeed sensitize young minds to the importance of empathy, compassion and to bring positive change in the lives of others.
Prof. Gursharan Kaur and Prof. Dimple said that the visit proved to be an enriching experience for all involved. Such visits not only bring joy and support to the needy and under privileged children but also install in them the belief that they to have the potential to achieve their dreams.
