Mumbai, December 8, 2023: Amazon miniTV, Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently released the third installment of its beloved teen drama, Crushed. Ever since its release, the series has been basking in immense love from the audience for its endearing storyline. The series, produced by Dice Media and directed by Mandar Kurundkar, explores the universal themes of friendship, relationships, and teenage struggles. Crushed features Aadhya Anand, Arjun Deswal, Naman Jain, and Urvi Singh in pivotal roles.
Arjun Deswal, who plays the role of Sahil in Crushed, reflected on how much he relates to his character in real life. He said, “In the first two seasons, my character was a one-sided lover. I think everyone has been there at least once in their lives. In the latest season, Sahil’s life takes a turn with the entry of Tanya. His perception of life changes after he falls in love with her. I also think it's the most organic way of falling in love with someone - as you open up about your life to that special someone, it gives you a feeling of fulfillment and security.”
Adding to this Aadhya Anand, who essays the role of Aadhya Mathur in the series, said, “The best part about Crushed is its relatability factor. It's not just me, but every teen girl or woman in general will relate to Aadhya. Just like viewers, I could empathize with the various emotions my character goes through, be it disappointment, heartbreak, or confusion, in the series. Therefore, Aadhya Mathur is such a loved character. As far as poetry is concerned, Aadhya Anand is more of a novel person rather than a poetry fanatic like Aadhya Mathur.”
