Aam Aadmi Party got a big boost in Jalandhar, big leaders of BJP-Congress and Akali Dal joined AAP
Before the Jalandhar West Assembly by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained more strength in Jalandhar. In Jalandhar city, the AAP gave a big jolt to the BJP. On Monday, BJP leader and former senior deputy mayor of Municipal Corporation Jalandhar Kamaljit Bhatia joined AAP.

Jalandhar, July 1, 2024: Before the Jalandhar West Assembly by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) gained more strength in Jalandhar. In Jalandhar city, the AAP gave a big jolt to the BJP. On Monday, BJP leader and former senior deputy mayor of Municipal Corporation Jalandhar Kamaljit Bhatia joined AAP.
The Aam Aadmi Party also dealt a big blow to Akali Dal. Big
Dalit leader of Doaba Vijay Danav joined the AAP along with hundreds of his supporters. In the presence of AAP MLA from Nakodar Inderjit Kaur, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inducted Vijay Danav and his supporters into the party.
State President of 'Shri Guru Gyan Nath Shanti Sena' Dharminder Gill also joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with his supporters. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inducted them into the party in the presence of Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur. Along with them, Monu Bahman, Simran Mana, Vicky Rathore, Kaka, Mani Gill, Gurbaksh Singh, Satnam Singh, Gurnam Singh, Manpreet Kaur, Sukhwinder Singh, Jyoti, Nisha Gaur, Rajkumar Raju, Ashok Kumar, Prem Pal Ghadu, Babbu Gill, Balwinder Bitta, Raj Kumar, Vishal Sharma, Surjit Bittu, Harnek Singh, Monu Lunga, Maninder Singh and Ashok Kumar joined the AAP family.
Senior Congress leader and PPCC General Secretary and State Coordinator Hemant Sabharwal also joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inducted him into the party in the presence of AAP ministers Aman Arora and Harbhajan Singh ETO, AAP MLA Barinder Goyal and AAP State General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat.
BJP suffered another setback in Jalandhar. Pawan Kumar, former vice-president of BJP Punjab Scheduled Caste Front, also joined the party. Pawan Kumar has been playing an important role in many religious and social activities along with politics. He is the state president of Bhagwan Valmiki Dharma Prachar Sabha. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also inducted him into the party.
Along with Pawan Kumar, Vijay Batra, Rinku Hans, Bhupinder Kumar, Inderjit Kalyan, Ravi Kumar, Somnath Malhotra, Bhishan Das Sahota, Bihari Lal Gill, Parminder Kumar, Balwinder Bittu, Dharminder Gill, Prem Ghadu JE, Kuldeep Ghai, Lucky Ghai, Billa Hans, Kamal Dravid, Vishal Dravid, Vipan Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Lucky Kumar, Pradeep Sondhi and Naseeb Chand Thapar joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
In his statement, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the whole of Jalandhar is with the Aam Aadmi Party. Impressed by our pro-people policies, people are continuously supporting the Aam Aadmi Party and joining the party. The Aam Aadmi Party has the support of people from every section and every society of Jalandhar. He said that this time also, like 2022, the people here are very eager to make the AAP candidate win.
