Chandigarh / Jalandhar, July 1, 2024: Aam Aadmi Party, Punjab's state General Secretary and Punjab Mandi Board's Chairman Harchand Singh Barsat stated that victory of the Aam Aadmi Party is certain in the by-election of Jalandhar West. AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat is an educated and intelligent person, who is connected with every segment of the society and is always committed to public welfare and social service. His family has been serving the people of Jalandhar for 2 generations and is connected with the people at the ground level. His father Chuni Lal Bhagat had done commendable work for the development of Jalandhar and Punjab as a minister, and now people have similar expectations form AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat.

State General Secretary said that people vote for the party that works, and the Aam Aadmi Party has given priority to public welfare works in their 2-year tenure. In support of AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat from Jalandhar West, he said that seeing the love and trust of the people towards Mohinder Bhagat, it is certain that the Aam Aadmi Party will win the by- election by a huge margin. He stated that voters have now recognized the real faces of Congress, BJP, and Akali Dal, who mislead people with big promises but fail to fulfill them. This election will teach a lesson to the deceivers.

Barsat said that Aam Aadmi Party always contests elections on the basis of its work and therefore, the welfare activities undertaken by the AAP government in the last two years are being presented to the public. Under the leadership of S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the government has made improvements in every sector over the past 2 years. Today, the people of Punjab are receiving 600 units of free electricity. The government has provided government jobs to more than 43000 youth without any bribe and recommendation. Apart from this, the establishment of Mohalla Clinic, School of Eminence, free bus travel for women, door-to-door ration, Farishte Yojana, Sadak Surakhya force and sports nursery for the better future of children, the government under the leadership of S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken meaningful steps to establish new industries in Punjab.
