'AAP' Gains Strength in Ludhiana, Setback For Congress
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has gained significant strength in the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, while the Congress Party has suffered a major setback. On Saturday, Congress Councillor Mamta Rani, along with several Congress leaders, joined AAP.

Ludhiana/Chandigarh, January 18, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has gained significant strength in the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, while the Congress Party has suffered a major setback. On Saturday, Congress Councillor Mamta Rani, along with several Congress leaders, joined AAP.
Punjab AAP President and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora formally inducted all the leaders into the party and welcomed them.
Along with Councillor Mamta Rani, senior Congress leaders Balwinder Singh, Mani Ram, and Vishal Dhawan also joined the Aam Aadmi Party. All the leaders stated that they would work with full dedication and commitment to propagate AAP's pro-people policies.
Meanwhile, Aman Arora assured all the leaders of due respect and positions within the party. He also stated that together, they would work towards making Ludhiana a beautiful and clean city.
