Chandigarh, July 10, 2024: Aam Aadmi Party Punjab Incharge and MLA from Tilak Nagar of Delhi Jarnail Singh today made an important visit to the Bein River along with MP Sant Baba Balbir Singh. The purpose of the visit was to acknowledge and support the ongoing efforts to clean and restore this historically and religiously significant river.

The Bein River holds a special place in the hearts of many, as it is known that Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism, visited this river during his lifetime. Recognizing its significance, Sant Baba Balbir Singh has been at the forefront of the entire cleaning drive to preserve and revive the river.

During the visit, MLA Jarnail Singh lauded and thanked Sant Baba Balbir Singh for his unwavering dedication to the cause. He emphasised the ecological and spiritual significance of the river, highlighting how its restoration is in line with the values of cleanliness and purity advocated by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
