Bains told to keep away from AAP affairs
Ludhiana, July 30, 2018: Office bearers and volunteers of Aam Aadmi Party from Ludhiana held an impressive meeting here today and expressed their full solidarity with High Command's decision to appoint a highly acclaimed Dalit leader Harpal Singh Cheema as Leader of Opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha and strongly condemned the alleged anti-party activities of Sukhpal Singh Khaira and supporters, reminding them that the same party high command had chosen them for the big responsibilities.
In the meeting the role being played by Bains brothers to disintegrate AAP strongly condemned and they were warned against unnecessary interference in AAP affairs. AAP leaders accused that LIP supporters were active in making Bathinda convention of 2nd August a success.
Prominent among others who were present included Spokesperson AAP Punjab Darshan Singh Shankar, Malwa Zone-2 Organisation Building In Charge Mohan Singh Virk, Zone Youth President Amandeep Mohi, Zone Women Wing President Rajinderpal Kaur, Zone Kisaan Wing President Gurjit Singh Gill, Zone vice President Suresh Goyal, Zone General Secretary Ravinderpal Singh Pali, Youth Leader Amrinder Singh Jassowal, Distt VP Puneet Sahni, Halka Gill President Jiwan Singh Sangowal, Halka Khanna President Anil Dutt Falli , Halka Payal predident Gurpreet Singh Lapran, Stste Gen Secy Navjot Singh Jarg, Master Hari Singh, District Social Media president Dupinder Singh, District General Secretary Baldev Singh, Parminder Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Avtar Singh, Khazaan Singh Matharoo and Sahil Singh Barewal.
AAP leaders appreciated the stand taken during the meeting yesterday with Khaira and others sticking to the decision of appointing new LOP. They also appreciated the majority MLAs for adhering to their decision of suggesting a Dalit leader as LOP and appealed them to actively take up the burning public issues like farm loans, drugs, problems of Dalits, employment, sand mafia etc.
State General Secretary Ahbaab Grewal and District President Daljeet Singh Grewal could not attend meeting as they were away to Delhi to attend a party meeting.
