Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO strongly condemned the statement made by Gurpatwant Pannun regarding the demolition of the statues of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, terming it anti-Dalit, anti-Constitutional and anti-national and challenged Gurpatwant Pannun that if he has the courage, then come to Punjab and repeat this statement.

Amritsar/Chandigarh, April 4, 2025: Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO strongly condemned the statement made by Gurpatwant Pannun regarding the demolition of the statues of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, terming it anti-Dalit, anti-Constitutional and anti-national and challenged Gurpatwant Pannun that if he has the courage, then come to Punjab and repeat this statement.
Terming this statement as anti-national, Harbhajan Singh ETO also demanded from the Central Government to take immediate action against this traitor and cowardly person and bring him back to India and put him in jail.
Talking to the press, ETO said that anti-nationals like Pannun are trying to disrupt peace and brotherhood in Punjab through such statements, to which the entire Aam Aadmi Party leadership and the people of Punjab will give a befitting reply on the occasion of Baba Saheb Ambedkar's birth anniversary on April 14 by bowing down before the statues of Baba Saheb.
ETO said that Baba Saheb's life has always been dedicated to raising the standard of living of Dalits, equal education and the rights given by the Constitution. He said that thanks to his written Constitution, people of all religions and castes have been given fundamental rights including the right to vote. That is why the entire country considers him as its ideal.
ETO said that the seeds of hatred can never be sown on the land of Punjab with the statements of this anti-national. He said that Pannun always tries to disrupt the brotherhood of our country and Punjab by making such statements on certain occasions. He said that our religions have always taught us to pray for the welfare of all and Baba Saheb's Constitution have given equal rights to all people.
