Chandigarh, August 16, 2024: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab celebrated its Supremo Arvind Kejriwal's birthday on Friday. AAP Punjab leaders and volunteers gathered at the party office in Chandigarh, where they cut a cake to wish the AAP national convenor a happy birthday and express their hopes for his long and healthy life.
Speaking on the occasion, Cabinet Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra praised Arvind Kejriwal as a revolutionary leader who has pioneered honest politics in India, describing him as a national hero. Jauramajra expressed confidence that Kejriwal would emerge stronger from the current false allegations. He said that Arvind Kejriwal founded a successful political party, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and noted the party's achievements: governing Delhi and Punjab, holding the mayoral position in Chandigarh, electing five MLAs in Gujarat and two MLAs in Goa, and securing thirteen parliamentary seats. Jauramajra attributed these successes to Kejriwal's vision for a better nation.
On this occasion, along with Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra, Chandigarh Mayor Kuldeep Kumar, PRTC vice-chairman Balwinder Singh Jharwan, AAP leader Prem Garg, party spokespersons Harsukhinder Singh Babbi Badal and Vikram Jit Passi, Chandigarh councillors, Suresh Goyal (Treasurer AAP Punjab) and party workers were present.
