ABC Montessori School celebrates Diwali

Ludhiana, October 19, 2014: Welcoming the festival of lights, ABC Montessori School, Basant Avenue celebrated Diwali with devotion, enthusiasm and excitement on Saturday. Tastefully decorated school campus added charm and religious fervour to the atmosphere when theparents along with their children were given a traditional welcome.

ABC Montessori has organised various competitions like Rangoli making, Diya decoration, Cooking without fire, Diwali craft etc. Fathers along with Mothers of our little Montessorians got a chance to  unfold the creative abilities in a string of activities as cooking without fire and rangoli making were couple activities. & to make it more interesting, one hand of both the parents tied up with a ribbon.

Decorated in vibrant hues, the school had an ambience of joy and happiness everywhere.Mothers made beautiful rangolis, & crafts ,decorated diyas and candles.They also made yummy dishes.In each & every activity mothers were trying to put their best as this was the time to show their talents.

Gifts were given to the winning mothers. Ishanpreet's mother was awarded for making Delicious desert. Aarna’s mother & Aarahan's mother got prize for making beautiful rangoli of Lord Ganesha. Bhagat's mother got prize for making Diwali craft i.e an attractive candle decoration. Anhad’s mother Got award for decorating candles and diyas.

One minute games were also organised for the parents, which were quite interesting and entertaining.

The whole schools Campus was decorated with lights. Little Montessorians lighted earthern lamps. With the help of teachers. Little Montessorians also enjoyed bursting eco-friendly crackers and also exchanged gifts and cards. They were also told the importance of this festival.

Charandeep Singh Dua congratulated the winners and wished everyone a happy and prosperous Diwali.
