Jalandhar, April 2, 2022: NSS Units of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar is creating a niche of its own whether it is community service or Youth Empowerment. March 2022 was the month of achievements for volunteers and Program Officers of NSS Units LKC.
Volunteer Samriti Manhas, public speaker, represented Punjab at National Youth Parliament Festival 2022 from 10th to 13th March 2022. She was invited to visit Common Hall at Parliament at New Delhi on a Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports sponsored event. Volunteers Maninderjit Singh and Mahima Jain Successfully participated in National Integration Camp of NSS sponsored by Dept. of Higher Education Haryana from 21st - 27th march, 2022.
Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra welcomed the students and motivated them to keep the good work going. He added Lyallpur Khalsa College is committed for the overall development of students. Chief Program Officer Satpal Singh, who attended NSS Orientation Training Program from 11th to 17th March, 2022 at Chandigarh, informed that volunteers and program officers of LKC have started an Online Cultural Exchange Program under Ek Bharat Sreshta Bharat where volunteers of Punjab will get a chance to share cultural values and information with other state volunteers. On 30th March, 2022, volunteers of Punjab exchanged cultural values with North Eastern (Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Assam and Mizoram) volunteers. Program Officer Satpal Singh thanked Principal Dr. Samra for his continuous guidance and support.
