Dharamshala, April 7, 2023: Acting Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Justice Sabina inaugurated the Additional District and Sessions Court at Dehra in Kangra district on Friday.
Justice Sabina said that the State High Court is making dedicated efforts to ensure speedy and affordable justice to the people at their doorsteps. Effective steps have been taken to make the judicial system more accessible to the public. She underlined the need of bar associations and judges to work together to make the judicial process more people-oriented. She asked all concerned judicial officers and bar associations to understand their responsibility and do qualitative work.
State High Court Judge Justice Vivek Singh Thakur congratulated the people of the area for getting Additional District and Sessions court .
He said that due to lack of permanent arrangement of Additional District and Sessions Court in Dehra till now, the people of the area had to travel upto Dharamshala for judicial assistance in related matters. The opening of this court in Dehra will provide convenience to all such people.
President Bar Association Dehra B .S. Gill honored the Acting Chief Justice by presenting her a shawl and a cap.
