ADC meets nine youngsters, wanting to serve nation by becoming civil servants
Under "I-ASPIRE" a leadership initiative, aimed at motivating and inspiring school students to pursue their dreams, nine youngsters from different government and private schools who aim to become IAS/IPS officers, met Additional Deputy Commissioner Rupinder Pal Singh, a senior PCS officer, in his office.
Ludhiana, September 5, 2024: Under "I-ASPIRE" a leadership initiative, aimed at motivating and inspiring school students to pursue their dreams, nine youngsters from different government and private schools who aim to become IAS/IPS officers, met Additional Deputy Commissioner Rupinder Pal Singh, a senior PCS officer, in his office.
The youngsters asked ADC about how he became a PCS officer, his working and daily routine and shared their dreams of becoming IAS/IPS officers.
The ADC assured fulsome support to the students as well as their families in pursuing their dreams. He also motivated them to read books, newspapers and magazines daily. He also gave them appreciation certificates and extended good wishes for the future.
ADC Rupinder Pal Singh stated that this initiative aims to bridge the gap between aspirations and reality by providing students with first hand exposure to their desired career paths. He mentioned that under the initiative, students will be asked about their career ambitions; based on their choice, they will be grouped for visits to relevant professionals’ offices including IAS, IPS, PCS, PPS, doctor, scientist and others.
