Ludhiana: To combat the ferocious second wave of Covid-19 more efficaciously, the district administration on Wednesday announced to hire medical specialists on daily honorarium basis in the district.
Divulging the details in this regard, SDM East Dr Baljinder Singh Dhillon said that qualified medical specialists must come forward to help the administration in winning the battle against the contagion.
He said that the interested candidate could contact SMO Civil Hospital, Ludhiana and they would be deputed in the Ludhiana district for the better management of Covid patients.
Describing it as national service, Dhillon said that decision has been taken to enhance the manpower resources for ensuring quality treatment for the patients inflicted with Corona Virus. He said that the state government has decided to give daily based honorarium for the medical specialists being hired for this purpose for Covid duty.
SDM East said that the walk in interviews would be organized for the applicants applying for these posts.
