Chandigarh, May 25, 2015: The Adventure Club of Haryana Tourism is all set to organise Summer Adventure Camps for students at Manali in Himachal Pradesh. Children with special needs will also take part   in these camps.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana tourism said that  these summer camps  will be organised in coordination with Haryana School Education Department and Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Haryana  from May 30 to the end of June. About 850 participants from different parts of the state are expected to participate in these Summer Adventure Camps. About 110 children with special needs will  also  take part in these camps. Special arrangements have been made for keeping these students creatively engaged through activities like clay modelling, paper quilling, paper cutting and cursive handwriting. A magic show will also be organised as an added attraction.

He said that during the Camp, the participants will be imparted training by a team of expert guides and instructors on various adventure activities comprising Rock Climbing, Rappelling, River Crossing, Wall Climbing and lots more. The camp will also include a bunch of fun activities that include trekking, bird watching, cultural evenings, fox-flying, camp fire, meditation, personality development and indoor-outdoor rural games.

The accommodation would be provided in comfortable tents and there will be clean washrooms with hot and cold water facility. Special care has been taken to provide nutritious and hygienic meals to all the participants.

Haryana Tourism has designed these special packages for school groups that are very economically priced at Rs 500 (per day, per head), which included accommodation, meals and a host of adventure and fun activities.
