African Students Meet 2023 held at GJIMT
The International Students Club at Gain Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Phase 2 Mohali organized the African Students Meet 2023 at its campus to make foreign students at home. Students from Ghana, Liberia, Seeria, leone, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe and other countries of Africa participated in the event and gave presentations about their countries and culture. They also presented a show on the stage depicting how Indian institutions are acquiring international standards and benchmarking bringing in international accreditation and best practices to compete at the global level.
Mohali, October 16, 2023: The International Students Club at Gain Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology, Phase 2 Mohali organized the African Students Meet 2023 at its campus to make foreign students at home. Students from Ghana, Liberia, Seeria, leone, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe and other countries of Africa participated in the event and gave presentations about their countries and culture. Baker Baluywa, Education Attaché, Uganda High Commission was Chief guest of the function. While Muniru Kadiri, Counsellor-Head Consular Affairs, Ghana High Commission was special guest. Gain Jyoti Group Chairam J S Bedi & Director Ranjeet Bedi also grace the occasion.
Later, cake cutting ceremony was conducted along with many amusing performances by students. GJIMT Director Dr. Aneet Bedi said that India has been attracting foreign students, owing to its low cost of education, quality of studies and unique courses. Professional programs and courses are pulling the foreign crowd into India. Foreigner Students also shared their good experience in the college and thanked the management of GJIMT for taking well care of international students on the campus.
