“Aharutsav” 1 Day Food Festival on Independence Day at GNA University
School of Hospitality organised “Aharutsav” 1-day Food Festival on Independence day celebration with the Institution Innovation Council with an objective to give students freedom overcome all their hesitations and fears and come up with innovative ideas and plans for the set-up of the food stalls for this festival. The event was also there to enhance the culinary skills, knowledge and revenue management of the participants.
Jalandhar, August 16, 2023:School of Hospitality organised “Aharutsav” 1-day Food Festival on Independence day celebration with the Institution Innovation Council with an objective to give students freedom overcome all their hesitations and fears and come up with innovative ideas and plans for the set-up of the food stalls for this festival. The event was also there to enhance the culinary skills, knowledge and revenue management of the participants.
The event provided individuals the ability to create delicious and visually appealing dishes. Apart from cooking, this festival reminded students about “Unity in Diversity"” by organising a variety of food items from different parts of India under one umbrella.
The students enjoyed this event and participated in cultural activities and formed “BHARAT”. The Pro-Chancellor, S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, Dr. VK Rattan, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Hemant Sharma, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Monika Hanspal, Dean Academic Affairs, Dr. Deepak Kumar, Dean SOH, Dhiraj Pathak, HOD SOH, appreciated the efforts made by the students and the faculty to make this event successful and memorable. Everyone enjoyed the dishes prepared by the students and motivated them to keep the spirit high to excel in their career.
Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor lauded the endeavours of the School of Hospitality and motivated them to hold more of such events at the University level.
