AISF  demands Bhagat Singh National Employment Generation Act

Ludhiana, July 27, 2017: The Ludhiana unit of All India Students Federation (AISF) and All India Youth Federation (AIYF) have decided to accord rousing welcome to the Long March by the two organizations from Kanya Kumari to Hussaniwala on the theme SAVE INDIA- CHANGE INDIA. The march centered around the demand for Bhagat Singh National Employment Generation Act so as to formulate policies for generation of employment among youth so that they can contribute for nation’s development.
Giving details of the programme Karamveer Kaur national convener said that the Jatha which started from Kanya Kumari on 15th July will arrive in Punjab on 9th September after passing through various states of the country. It will reach Ludhiana on 10th September and then end at Husssainiwala on 12th September. A planning committee with 29 members was formed which will design the programme f the Jatha while in Ludhiana.

The meeting was addressed by student leaders Deepak Kumar, Kartika, Ajay Kumar, Manpreet Kaur, Ishrat and many others. Former student and youth leaders Dr Arun Mitra, D P Maur, Gurwant Singh , Gurnam Sidhu also spoke on the occasion. They warned that the government had promised 2 crore jobs every year but till date only 1.35 lakh jobs have been generated in three years of the Modi government. Having failed to fulfill its promises the government is hell bent n spreading hatred among different sections of the society. This is a big challenge before the youth f the day.
