The annual session of CII Jalandhar Zone was organized at Hotel Best Western Plus Jalandhar, was attended by industrial members of CII Jalandhar Zone. This session marked the successful tenure completion of Dr. Aman Mittal, Vice President of Lovely Professional University, as the Chairman of CII Jalandhar Zone for 2024-25. It was also held to elect and announce the new Chairman and Vice Chairman for CII Jalandhar Zone for 2025-26.

Jalandhar: The annual session of CII Jalandhar Zone was organized at Hotel Best Western Plus Jalandhar, was attended by industrial members of CII Jalandhar Zone. This session marked the successful tenure completion of Dr. Aman Mittal, Vice President of Lovely Professional University, as the Chairman of CII Jalandhar Zone for 2024-25. It was also held to elect and announce the new Chairman and Vice Chairman for CII Jalandhar Zone for 2025-26.
The session began with Dr. Aman Mittal addressing the industrial members and sharing the key initiatives undertaken by CII Jalandhar during his tenure. CII Punjab State Chairman Amit Jain and Vice Chairman Harpreet Nibber were also present on the occasion and appreciated Dr. Aman Mittal’s exceptional leadership throughout the year. Amit Jain commended the efforts of CII Jalandhar Zone in addressing policy issues with the government and organizing various programs and sessions throughout the year.
CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Jalandhar Zone unanimously elected new office bearers, appointing Ajay Sikka, Chairman & Managing Director of Sharp Chucks and Machines, as the Chairman, and Mukhinder Singh, Managing Director of State Engineering Corporation, as the Vice Chairman. Outgoing Chairman Dr. Aman Mittal formally handed over the responsibilities to the newly appointed office bearers. Prominent industrial members congratulated them and extended their best wishes for the coming year. Dr. Aman Mittal, while congratulating Ajay Sikka and Mukhinder Singh, stated that CII had made an excellent decision in electing them, which would provide a strong platform for industrialists to expand their businesses in the future.
After the annual session, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, the chief guest of the event, attentively listened to the concerns of the industrialists and assured them of solutions to their issues.
Newly appointed Chairman Ajay Sikka expressed his gratitude to CII for entrusting him with this responsibility. He assured that CII Jalandhar Zone would work towards the growth and development of industries and the region. Several new initiatives and activities have been planned, and innovative ideas will be implemented throughout the year. He emphasized that concrete steps would be taken to create employment opportunities and support industrialists with the latest advancements, which would prove to be a milestone in the coming times.
