All 29 samples of Corona suspects in Kangra district tested negative
1,18,834 social security pensioners to get money at their homes
Dharamshala: Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 infection, social security pension will now be delivered to the beneficiaries' at home through post offices. The Deputy Commissioner said that the beneficiaries of social security pension are elderly and senior citizens and this decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of their health.
Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati informed that social security pension is being provided to one lakh 18 thousand 834 people of kangra district and the amount of 44 crore 34 lakh has been deposited by the Social Welfare Department in the post office savings bank accounts. Through this, orders have been given to post offices that the amount of security pension must be delivered at their doorstep. He said that social security pension holders are not required to come to the post office, it will not be distributed in post offices.
He said that arrangements have been made for home delivery of food items and medicines to people at many places in Kangra district.
Deputy Commissioner said that the report of 29 samples of Corona suspects in Kangra district on Thursday was negative. Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati said that the health department teams are visiting house to house to collecting information about people about Corona.
