All the Departments of Emerging Area Building, Panjab University in collaboration with Horticulture Wing of Panjab University organized a Tree Plantation Drive in the front and around the surrounding of Emerging Area Building on Monday.

Chandigarh, August 5, 2024: All the Departments of Emerging Area Building, Panjab University in collaboration with Horticulture Wing of Panjab University organized a Tree Plantation Drive in the front and around the surrounding of Emerging Area Building on Monday.
Firstly, sprucing of the lawns and grounds around Emerging Area in Social Sciences Block was prepared. Mowing of grass, weeds and wild growth was done. Flower beds were prepared and shrubs and trees like Hibiscus, Almenda and Ficus were planted. In addition to that, some herbs like Tulsi and Shrubs like Kaner and Chinese Rose were planted for beautification and ornamentation of the area. Besides this landscaping in three vacant spaces are done as it was required since long.
All the Chairpersons, faculty and staff members and students of the Emerging Area Building actively participated in this drive and planted the plants.
