All five schools of Innocent Hearts celebrated Vijyadashmi festival with gusto
Vijay Dashami festival was celebrated with great pomp in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Nurpur Road and Kapurthala Road).
Jalandhar, October 4, 2022: Vijay Dashami festival was celebrated with great pomp in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Nurpur Road and Kapurthala Road).
The little children were in the characters of, Shri Ram, Lakshmana, Mata Sita and Hanuman The students of grade IV and V played the characters of the theatrical adaptations Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhakaran and demonstrated the victory of good over evil through war.
A special assembly was also organized on this occasion, children presented poems on the Vijayadashami festival and also understood the importance of this festival. Students presented anecdotes of Ram- Bharat Milap and Ram-Ravana war through dance drama.
The enthusiasm of the children playing all the characters was worth seeing. The teachers in each class explained to the children that the festival of Vijayadashami gives us the message of victory of good over evil. They inspired the children to follow the teachings from the life of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram.
Deputy Director Cultural Affairs Sharmila Nakra said that the purpose of celebrating all kinds of festivals in the school is to make children aware of the culture of their country and to maintain respect and regard for each religion.
