All India 4th Thakur Memorial Basketball Tournament commenced at Sacred Souls’ School

Mohali, October 11, 2019: Sacred Souls’ School host 3 days All India 4th Thakur Memorial Basketball Tournament at its campus . On the first day there were 8 participating teams of boys. Ramesh Kelly, Retd.Deputy Director of Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala & Gurpal Singh Bhatti, Director Sacred Souls’ School inaugurated the tournament and motivated the teams. Harshehbaz Singh, Sports Captain, took the oath on behalf of the participating teams. Sacred Souls’ School won the first match against Learning Paths School, Mohali with score 38-22. Tanish Gumber and Harshehbaz Singh of Sacred Souls’ School contributed 22 and 13 scores respectively. In the 2nd match Hindu Public School, Hisar won against The Asian School, Dehradun with the score 55 - 44. The highest scorer of the second match was Shivang of Hindi Public School, Hisar with score 31. 3rd match was played between Gayatri Public School, Agra and Police DAV, Jalandhar, a walk over was given in favour of Gayatri Public School.
