All India Bank of India SC/ST/OBC Employees Association, Ludhiana Zone, celebrates birth anniversary of Dr.Ambedkar

Ludhiana, April 22, 2018: All India Bank of India SC/ST/OBC Employees Association, Ludhiana Zone, organised a programme to celebrate birth anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar at Punjabi Bhawan here today.

Sh.H.S.Virdi, ex-Deputy Zonal Manager of Rajkot Zone was the chief guest of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Sh.Virdi said that the employees of reserve categories should work hard for the upliftment of poor people. The welfare association of these categories should work hard to implement the government schemes initiated for the betterment of socially and economically weaker sections.

Dr.Avtar Singh, the key speaker at the programme, stressed on the need of unity among all the associations to save the Indian Constitution.

Sh.Karamjit Singh Kainth, president of the association, spoke about the amendments in the Prevention of SC ST Atrocities Act.
Awards and mementoes were presented to the meritorious students of different schools.

Sh.Bhajan Singh, Sh.Shankar Dass Loi, Ms Rupinder Kaur, Sh.Kewal Jassal, Sh.Hussan Lal, Sh.Mohan Singh, Sh.Harmesh Kaler, Sh.Gurmukh Singh and others were present.
