All India Inter University Track Cycling (Men and Women) Championship for the session 2017-18 begins at Ludhiana

Ludhiana, January 18, 2018: Panjab University, Chandigarh is organising All India Inter University Track Cycling (Men and Women) Championship for the session 2017-18. The championship began at the PAU Velodrome here on Thursday. It will continue till January 21.
Rajesh Kalra, CEO of Suncross Pvt Ltd was the chief guest and Ranjodh Singh, President of Ramgarhia Educational Council was the guest of honour of on the inaugural ceremony.
Director of Sports, Panjjab University, Chandigarh Dr Parminder Singh warmly welcome the chief guest as well as guest of honour and gave special thanks to Dr Dharam Singh Sidhu, Principal, SCD Government College, Ludhiana, Dr Narinder Sandhu, ex principal, Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana, Dr Mukati Gill, Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana and Dr Sarita Behal, Principal of DD Jain College, Ludhiana for smooth conduct of the championship. The college principals were honoured for their support.
International Cyclist Sahil took oath at the inauguration of the championship.
A total 27 teams (14 teams of boys and 13 teams of girls) from across the country are participating in the event.
Among others, Rajeshwar Kaur, HoD, Physical Department of RGC, Ludhiana was present.
