Dharamshala: S P Sharma, Superintendent, Post Office, Dharamshala informed that the 35th All India Post Badminton Competition will be organized from 22 to 26 February 2021 at Dharamshala. He informed that the competition will be inaugurated on by Pradeep Kumar Bishoi Secretary, Department of Posts and Chairman of Postal Service Committee on February 22 at 10 am.
He informed that Badminton player and coach Pullela Gopichand, who has been awarded the Arjan Award and the Draunacharya Award, and the National Champion of the Badminton Men’s Singles Competition and Integral Shyam Gupta, who was awarded the Arjuna Award, will be present as special guests on the occasion through video conferencing.
He informed that about 170 participants from 19 post circles across the country will participate in this badminton competition. He informed that the competition will also be broadcast online through different channels. He informed that the guidelines have already been issued for prevention of Kovid-19 during the competition will be strictly followed.
