Jalandhar, September 1, 2022: Sanskriti KMV School Principal, staff and students welcomed Padma Shri Dr. Kiran Seth, founder SPIC MACAY on his en-route through Jalandhar as a part of his All India Solo Cycle Yatra from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari, a prime campaign by Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst the Youth (SPICMACAY).
Renowned academician, environmentalist and a global campaigner Padma Shri Dr Kiran Seth was given a cordial welcome in the campus with green sapling greetings and a cap with school insignia by Rachna Monga, Principal, Jyoti Saggi, Member School Management Committee and Anuradha Sondhi, National Executive, SPIC MACAY. Valuable presence was also marked by Suman, Director Media; Neeru Aggarwal and Harish SPIC MACAY Volunteers and guest officials from Doordarshan.
Students showcased a short cultural program in his honour and vowed to follow the mission flagged and routed by him for the concern of humanity. In his highly inspiring address and interaction with the students, he emphasised on being focused and determined towards the goals. As per his words, It is very important for all to stay connected to our ancestral heritage and rich culture, imbibing its learning in our life style for healthy living. He practically gave valuable mediation tips to the students and staff for better concentration in order to raise their performance bar in all spheres.
Rachna Monga, Principal in her words of gratitude to Dr Kiran Seth mentioned his immaculate contribution in national movement of cultural awareness and binding the young minds for humanity. She mentioned that Sanskriti KMV School will continue to be at par with the mission and message of SPIC MACAY for the masses towards cultural promotion and environment conservation projects.
