All officers should visit field and inspect developmental works regularly: Governor
Presides over review meeting of development works in DC Office at Dharamshala
Dharamshala: Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that all departmental officers should take effective steps to complete various works in a time bound manner so that people could get better facilities. He said that special care should be taken for ensuring the quality of developmental works.
While presiding over the review meeting of development works today in the Deputy Commissioner Office premises Dharamshala, Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said, “All officers should visit the field and inspect the developmental works regularly. Efficient efforts should be made to provide benefits of all the schemes and programs of government to every section of the society.”
The Governor said that appropriate steps should also be taken to provide housing facilities to the poor and eligible people. He said that necessary steps should be taken for water conservation and better drinking water facilities should be ensured to every household.
The Governor said, “All basic facilities should be provided in government educational institutions and model schools should also be developed. Special attention should also be given to motivate children to participate in sports and cultural activities and steps should also be taken for ensuring better examination results in government educational institutions besides enhancing the learning outcome of the students. Emphasis should be laid on working with readiness to develop e-learning and smart classes facilities in all schools.”
He directed the officers of the Youth Services and Sports Department to ensure maximum participation of youth in the Fit India Program and special programs should be organized for school children.
The Governor said that there is immense scope of self-employment in agriculture sector. He directed to set up modern training centres in rural areas to train unemployed youth and farmers.
The Governor said, “All villages should be connected with roads to provide better connectivity as it opens the roads of development. wide publicity of all welfare schemes and programs should also be ensured so that maximum eligible people could be benefited.”
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati welcomed the Governor and detailed about the development works being done in Kangra district.
Superintendent of Police Vimukt Ranjan, ADC Raghav Sharma and officers of various departments were present on the occasion.
Later Governor Bandaru Dattatraya administered the pledge to the students of ITI Dari to prevent accidents, occupational diseases and protect the environment on the occasion of National Security Week.
