All roads of Focal Point area being revamped; concrete roads being constructed: Bharat Bhushan Ashu
Visits Focal Point area and interacts with industrialists
Ludhiana, December 3, 2021: Punjab Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu today informed that all roads of Focal Point area being revamped and that concrete roads being constructed in the area instead of bitumen roads.
Accompanied by Mayor Balkar Singh Sandhu, MC Commissioner Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal, CICU President Upkar Singh Ahuja, industrialist and traffic expert Rahul Verma, besides several others, the Cabinet Minister visited the Focal Point area and assured the industrialists that the Charanjit Singh Channi led Punjab government is committed for providing best infrastructure to industry.
He informed that due to flow of trucks carrying heavy items, much solid and high quality concrete roads are being constructed in Focal Point. He said that the concrete roads are highly durable and are best suited for industrial areas. On this occasion, even a large number of industrialists thanked Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Punjab government for the construction of concrete roads in this area.
The industrialists also raised issue of solid waste management in the area, after which, the Cabinet Minister assured them and directed the officials to installed static compactors in the area. He said that for the effective management of solid waste in Ludhiana, several static compactors have been installed in different parts of the city, while many more are under process.
Bharat Bhushan Ashu also visited the parks maintained by industrialists in Focal Point area and lauded their efforts. He also urged the industrialists to adopt all existing parks in Focal Point so that the area presents a green look.
