Chandigarh December 20, 2024: The Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University, hosted its Departmental Annual Reunion, welcoming alumni from previous batches as part of Panjab University’s 5th Global Alumni Meet. Prof. Namita Gupta, Chairperson, and Dr. Upneet K. Mangat, Alumni Coordinator, Centre for Human Rights and Duties, extended a warm welcome to all alumni from past years.
A nostalgic video, featuring a photo montage of attending alumni over the years, highlighted the versatile milestones they have achieved. The reunion was anchored by guest faculty member Dr. Kanika Sharma, who moderated a witty and fun "University Experience Sharing" game, making the alumni laugh and reminisce about their cherished memories as Master's students during their university life.
The halls of the Centre were decorated with a nostalgia-driven photo booth corner and a colorful message wall, designed by Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Manjula Verma, along with a vibrant group of research scholars: Kavita, Gurdeep, Poonam, and Meenu. The event also provided an interactive opportunity for the alumni and the current batch of Master's students to bond and engage with each other.
The event concluded with the presentation of a beautiful golden-embossed Panjab University ‘Gandhi Bhavan’ memoir to the alumni.
