While the tension is increasing on-screen, the audience is singing praises of Ishaan Dhawan for portraying such a complex and challenging character with ease, showcasing his versatility as an actor. From his look to his speech, Dhruv aka Ishaan has put in tremendous effort in bringing out this character.
Talking about his prep for the role, Ishaan Dhawan, said, “I did undergo a lot of changes for this role including cutting my hair very short and trimming my beard as well. Apart from that, we did a lot of rehearsals to get the nuances right. There was a lot of back and forth on my part regarding how I wanted to portray this character. Sometimes I went over the top, sometimes I controlled my actions a bit, and then we finally found the right mix of do’s and don’ts. We had to be honest and sensible about portraying such a complex character. In fact, we keep adding more nuances to it. As an actor such a character is very fulfilling as it allows us to showcase our versatility. I am glad that people have appreciated this role. Their appreciation works as a fuel for me and inspires me to do better everyday.”
