Chennai, March 29, 2024: A.M. Jain College, a leading institution in Chennai dedicated to academic excellence, successfully concluded its 11th edition of Padma Shri Mohunmull Chordia Gold Cup Cricket Tournament, an inter-collegiate T-20 cricket tournament for men.
Loyola College emerged as the champions defeating Pachaiyappas College at AM Jain College’s New Cricket Ground.
The tournament, which commenced on the 13th of March, witnessed spirited competition among 24 colleges from across Chennai. Notable participants included VIT, Rajalakshmi Engineering, Guru Nanak, Theagaraya College, MCC, Nandhanam Arts, New College, and DGV, among others.
Chief Guest S Suresh, former TN Ranji Trophy Cricket Captain, in his valedictory address commended the teams for their exemplary performance throughout the tournament and presented the prizes.
