Amarjeet Singh Tikka donates 350 PPE kits to Ludhiana police

Ludhiana: Mr Amarjeet Singh Tikka, Chairman, Punjab Medium Industries Development Board (PMIDB) today donated government approved 350 PPE kits to the Ludhiana Police. He personally handed over these PPE kits to Commissioner of Police Mr Rakesh Kumar Agrawal at his office, here today.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Tikka said that these PPE kits have been provided under the able guidance of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and with the support of Mr Harpreet Singh from Ludhiana Mediways. He said that during this time of crisis, if anyone protecting the residents of Punjab at the forefront, they are the police, doctors, nurses and other health workers who risk their lives day and night to save our lives.
Mr Tikka said that the police officials will be protected by the PPE kits and will be carry out their duty with more confidence. Further, he also appealed to the corporate houses to support the government in this time of crisis. He informed that Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Gurudwara, Model Town Extension, here, has been providing langar for the police force ever since curfew/lockdown was imposed in the state.
He also urged the residents that they should follow all directions of the Punjab government regarding COVID 19 if they want to stay safe.
